HCMC nurses will be available at the Carroll County Office on Aging for free blood pressure checks at 11 a.m. The Carroll County Office on Aging is located at 625 High Street in Huntingdon.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is providing the funding. The purpose of the Delta program is to fund organizations located in eight Delta states (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee) to address unmet local health care needs and prevalent health disparities through the development of new and innovative projects in Delta communities.
