GrowWell TN and the Paris & Henry County Healthcare Foundation will be hosting a FREE summer day camp open to students who just completed 1st through 5th grades. The camp will be held on Thursday, July 14 from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon at Atkins Porter Gym, located at 301 S. Highland in Paris, TN. The camp is designed to teach children about the importance of nutrition, sleep, and exercise to their health with exercise, games, interactive learning and handouts.

The Dresden Senior Center will be hosting a health fair on Thursday, July 21 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The health fair will take place at 598 Evergreen Street in Dresden, TN.
Our Chronic Disease Management Program offers free screenings including total lipid panel, blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI and A1c. If a person has a chronic condition , smokes or is overweight, they can join the program for free. Participants are screened every three months and receive education about their chronic conditions. All patients must be fasting for 8 hours to participate in the screening.
Screenings will be done by appointment only.

Prevent Type 2 Diabetes is a year-long course offered for people who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes. The goal of the class is to teach participants lifestyle changes to help prevent their disease from turning into full-blown diabetes. The class is offered for a year. The informational session for the class will be held August 8, 2022 at 4 pm. in the Henry County Medical Center Private Dining Room.
