About Le Bonheur on the Move

Le Bonheur on the Move (LOM) is a mobile unit that travels in rural West Tennessee to provide affordable, accessible healthcare services for children. This is accomplished by partnering with school systems who have identified a need for their children.

Le Bonheur on the Move supports the efforts of primary care providers by identifying the health care needs of children, offering preventative health services and education, and linking children to appropriate medical and/or behavioral health services. Through our mobile health services, we are bringing Le Bonheur expertise and services outside the walls of the hospital.

  • Le Bonheur on the Move Services:
  • Comprehensive well‐child examinations
  • Acute care
  • Sports physicals
  • Developmental/behavioral assessments
  • Medical/social service referrals

Information for Parents

The consent form for this program is distributed by your child’s school and is usually sent home at the beginning of each school year. All children who visit Le Bonheur on the Move are treated with care, compassion, and privacy. A finger stick, lab draw, or urine specimen collection may be necessary to meet the guidelines for completing an EPSDT exam or because the provider has additional concerns.

The goal of this program is to assist in getting children caught up on their yearly exams and link families back to their primary care providers.

If your child has TennCare then TennCare may be billed for these services, but you or your child will never be asked to pay anything and should never receive a bill from us or for our services. If you do, please contact us.
