The Tennessee Department of Health is partnering with Chester County to do a Community Health Assessment (CHA) in 2019. Any and all Chester County residents from all sectors are invited and welcome to participate. There will be six monthly meetings from January – June 2019;  Breakfast or lunch, as appropriate for the time of the meeting, will be provided. The meetings will be about an hour in length. January-April’s meetings will be at the UT Extension Office which is located at 126 Crook Avenue, St 202. May and June’s meetings will be held at the Henderson City Hall. PLEASE RSVP TO EMILY RUSHING to ensure there is enough food for everyone. Emily.Rushing@tn.gov

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is providing the funding. The purpose of the Delta program is to fund organizations located in eight Delta states (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee) to address unmet local health care needs and prevalent health disparities through the development of new and innovative projects in Delta communities.
